Im not totally sure I like him as a college coach.

I know he was like 2-4 in the post season in the NFL but his draft analysis of players was atrocious.
I seem to think his potential recruiting would be the same.

We need a younger coach not an older guy. We should be looking for a longer term solution.

yea, the more I think about it...the more I seem to like the idea of having him here actually as long as his recruiting isnt left up to him.

I do however question his tenure here and how long he would be here and not just use it as a stepping stone.

at Texas A&M he did an excellent job coaching and recruiting, so much so that TAMU boosters want him over their current coach.

Hire Sherman as a head coach.
Bring Chuck back to recruit.

6-6 minimum.

in his wikipedia it says he is loyal to the point of hiring friends to be his assistants regardless of their ability to coach

State fans, at this point, won't give a young guy the time he would need to mature as a coach...

i guess Sherman knows he's getting fired at the end of this season, and is already looking at where he can go next... not terribly surprising, although why his eyes would have settled on Raleigh i have NO idea...

Hey, at least he'd be able to get our Offensive Line working well (considering his previous college coaching experience)
