My company is in need of someone to help us produce decent looking reports from Access databases. The problem is I'm spending too much time cutting and pasting from Access tables into Excel templates for these reports. We need to automate this process as much as possible, and I assume that involves some programing.

We need this done by the new year and I'll need proof that you know what you're doing.

Well Crystal reports is the final solution. We have plans to implement some centralized databases with a reporting tool (like Crystal) sitting on top and spitting out the reports we need. In the meantime, I was hoping for a quick fix.

It looks like instead of trying to write some code for these reports, we're going to accelerate the IT project to have it done sometime in January. So I won't have to struggle with this helter skelter Access/Excel reporting for much longer.
