Out of curiousity, I checked out this website that came with a credit card denial letter. I put in my info and it gave me my credit score. Well on there it shows that I have 3 credit cards, only one of which I know of and use. The other two are Chase cards which I applied for and were apparently approved for but never received? Actually I'm pretty sure I got a reply saying I was denied that card... What's the deal with that? Anyone have any idea why I never received these cards or has this happened to you? If you want to see the site it's: http://creditexpert.com

You need to call them RIGHT NOW. Not even kidding.I had someone steal a credit card from my mail box once, and used it for like, a day or so before I realized something was up (looking at my online statement). Luckilly they didn't make me pay for it.good luck

I called them last night after I posted this and neither cards had been activated. I had them close one account and they're sending me a new card for the other one.

I was about to say if you haven't activated then they can close them and it shouldn't hurt your score ... but looks like you're good to go BTW Chase is great while you have the card, but as soon as you pay shit off they try to sell you shit like a crazy crack whore

Cancel your Chase account and don't use/get a credit check for six months. Then apply for a credit card that actually has an acceptable APR with some sort of reward system. The fine print on the Chase stuff reads LOLRAPE after your 0% introductory rate is up.

^ The fine print reads differently for different Chase cards. Most cards that companies send to people under 24 will read LOLRAPE. The worst is Citi, after that is Discover - they both have "student" cards with rates that border on those of loan sharks. Worse than both of those are department store cards. I had several friends in undergrad who wrecked their credit with dept. store cards to the point where they couldn't even get the phone turned on with a new apt.

Haha.. yeah that's definitely true about department stores. I work at Belk's and those cards' APRs are insane.
