I don't honestly think he want's to stick it to state. i mean we gave him a shot at his dream job, he didn't deliver and although i thought the firing should have been handled differently, he appeared to take it well without any real public backlash or jab at the university.

i hope he lands on his feet, he would be good for a smaller school in florida.

Amato May Head Back to 'Noles

Florida State’s executive head coach Kevin Steele is moving to Alabama to become the Tide’s defensive coordinator could pave the way for former North Carolina State coach Chuck Amato to return to Tallahassee.

Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden has contacted Amato to gauge his interest in a Seminole comeback. The two coaches spent 18 seasons together before Amato became the Wolfpack’s head coach.

One lure for Amato would be going back to Tallahassee as a defensive assistant, or he could move into the role of executive head coach.
