lets try and recall all the shitty moments engendered from chuck's leadership over the years so that when he is terminated we won't feel bad about this large breated italian who makes more money in endorsements than the gnp of most third world countries

IE: I remember when we fucking tried to do a qb sneak like 3 fucking times against osu and we lost

there are much better examples but i just wanted to get it rolling

2nd OT @ FSU

going for it on 4th down

(then again, Kiker would have missed the 22 yarder)

if we hadnt knocked the starting QB out, and some guy name Quinn who had very little experience at the time hadnt taken over, it would of been a long day....the starting QB was driving right down the field on us, backup sucked(badly) at the time, which was great for us....also, you should know by now that Rivers was the coach....without Rivers, Chuck has proven he cant coach his way out of a paper bag. Too bad his coaching career will end this way...as a total failure without Rivers. Bobby will probably hire him as LB coach....

so based on that, chuck only has 3 years of shitty coaching instead of 4 since everything in the philip rivers era was philip?

National Media laughing at our team and our coach...

my personal favorite...... seeing 3 flags on a field at the same time, all for different penalties, all on us. Not one of them was a dead ball penalty after the play was over either.....they were all during the play.

No, the coaching was shitty the whole time....its just Phillip made the results look better. Heck, I could have been the Chicago Bulls head coach when MJ was in his prime. I might not of won 6 NBA titles, but I think I could at least have a 60% winning percentage.

If Chuck could coach, we should of won alot more with Rivers and Co.....Rivers only could do so much. The best we could do during the Rivers Era was the Gator Bowl. Without Rivers, Chuck would of been chucked after his 3 or 4th year.

an assistant coach turnover that was beyond rediculous. this includes terrible hirings, and the inability to keep the good ones around for any amount of time. i think this accounts for 50% of the coaching issues with chuck.

i'll throw in the losses to wake forest too. a few of those games made me sick watching our defense chase guys around the field that didn't have the ball.

which left for head coaching jobs?

tried to find a list of our assistant coaches over chuck's tenure but couldn't find it. i know herring(sp?) left for more money but i gotta believe that there were other factors involved in his decision to leave a place that he just had the number 1 defense with a lot of guys returning.

Just watching that video is evidence enough that Chuck is considered a clown by the national media and NOTHING our fans do (bad fans, mind you) is anywhere close to the embarassement that he was.

Actually I think the lowest moment was a few days ago. There was a press conference, maybe Monday I think, in which someone asked something to the effect of why the team was struggling and what his status was etc.

Chuck responded that NC State had never had a successful football team/tradition/program before or something along those lines.

a) another excuse

b) Rutgers, Boise State, Utah, Louisville, and countless other teams that haven't had traditions but have fielded successful teams

c) To hear your head coach, who is an alumni, say in essense that shitty is ok because we haven't been that great before is absolutely unacceptable. If there was any doubt over whether or not he should be back, it should have ended right there with that comment.
