Is playmakers open? Stool Pidgeons? I wanna go watch the game at 8 since Time Warner are a bunch of cocksucking cumstains and don't have the NFL network in our area. Suggestions?

buy dish network or Direct TV. SOOO much better than dealing with TWC all the time.

I'm thinking about it. Seriously. However, this does not solve my immediate problem. Where to watch the game...

I'm looking also. Carolina Ale House is open (all locations except Cary), Sammy's, and I'm still trying to find others.

im surprised that the nfl allowed this to happeni figured that one of the big 4 would have picked it up because of the guaranteed viewers

The NFL "allowed" this to happen in large part to pressure cable companies to pick up the NFL network. If you've read anything about the battle between the NFL and the large cable companies you'd see that things are not entirely simple.I've already emailed TWC and told them that i'll be cancelling my service soon if the NFL network is not added.

well then i guess the cable companies are going to screw themselves to make a point

In all likelihood, yes. They'll probably take a significant hit in the next month and a half. A lot of people are very upset with the situation. I would be more than willing to pay for NFL network as a premium channel or as part of a sports package, but it isn't even an option, so fuck 'em.

Also planning to switch to Dish in the near future, not so much the NFL network as just a lot more HD channels than TWC can even dream of carrying (or DirecTV for that matter).
