Why are all images being watermarked now? I remember how Jake said that all jpeg stuff would be watermarked, and that is people don't want that shit on pics then they can upload other formats and they'd be left alone. Well what's up with everything, including bitmaps and some gifs being watermarked now? why the unannounced change of policy?

all images below a certain size still aren't watermarked. otherwise you're out of luck!

What size would that be? And what prompted the change in the watermarking policy?

GDI+ stopped crashing with bitmaps, GIFs, and PNGs.
