i used to keep a running tally. then it became ridiculous.

i can tell you the bands i've seen more than twice (maybe?):

wilco - 3
built to spill - 3
nola - 4 maybe
maple stave - probably around 20-30 times
cantwell, gomez and jordan - probably 3 or 4 times
sorry about dresden - probably 5 times
explosions in the sky - 3
circulatory system - 2 (maybe 3)
deyarmond edison - 4 (maybe?)
DESTROYER - 4
neko case - at least 3 maybe 4

there are probably more, but i just don't remember.

blasphemour: when did you see the Tea Party? I have a ton of their shows downloaded. Fantastic live stuff. I've never actually seen them live.

My list:

Muse
Days of the New
Be Less People and Loman (local bands count, right?)
Brooks and Dunn with guest stars Montgomery Gentry and Gretchen Wilson (g/f's little sister's birthday ... but BnD put on a pretty good show even if their music sucks)
At the Weinie Roast in Charlotte (bands I can remember):
Spacehog
Faith No More
Self
Seven Mary Three
several more barely worth remembering

and i think that's it...

theres no way i could even come close to doing this. with the amount of shows my band has played ALONE...i cant even remember have of the bands we played shows with over the past 3 years.

maybe if im bored one night this week ill try it but this would seriously be close to impossible. as im sure most people are on here, even if i make a list ill probably barely scratch the surface of the actual bands ive seen

http://www.last.fm/user/SGriff2311/tags/seen%20live

started keeping a list last year of the shows i went to and tagged them on last.fm, then went back and tried to fill in the shows from before that but i don't think i did that great of a job.

there's a lot of crappy bands on there that i saw 2 songs of at warped tour, a lot of crappy bands i've seen as openers, and some crappy bands i've seen cause i have crap taste in music.

oh yeah, and it shows them in reverse chronological order by when i tagged them, so since i tagged my most-listened-to bands first, most of the (in my opinion) better bands are at the bottom.

Wow, old school. I only have 2 full shows from 1995.
They barely had 2 albums out at that point. IMO, that was probably pretty close to the best time to see them. Even 8 or 9 years later, most of the songs they played live were from those same two albums.
