7 ACC, 8 Big East, 6 SEC, 5 Big 10, 4 Pac-10, 4 Big XII

(1) UNC
(3) Duke
(4) Boston College
(7) Florida State
(8) Georgia Tech
(10) Virginia
(11) Virginia Tech

Maryland one of the last 4 out.

My prediction is that UNC, Duke, BC, GT, and UVa are the only NCAA tourney teams coming from the ACC this year. I can see a scenario where VT can sneak in but only if they stay COMPLETELY healthy. I don't see FSU though, despite their nice recruiting class.

Hasn't FSU had "nice" recruiting classes for the last 6 years?

BC better play better than they did last night, or they might not even see the tourney this year. Fucking Vermont?! And this isn't the same Vermont team that had that pretty good player and Coach Tom Brennan which upset Syracuse in the 2005 NCAA Tourney.

It's not too early for us, and by the way you put too many a's in "way" and not enough o's in "too"

We're going to need the ACC to perform really well in out of conference games this year.

If we can win our "easy" games and get a few quality victories of our own maybe we can sneak in the tournament with 7-8 conference wins.

looking at the 8/9 seeds and much lower this tourney is going to be wild. there are so many good teams out there that seeding doesnt really mean much at all.

UNC

VIRGINIA
VA TECH

MARYLAND

We'll need 8 conference wins to get in......7 if we beat UNC or Duke.

going .500 in the conference isn't THAT far fetched, and if we do that, we'd most likely be in.

but i could see us going 7-9 in the ACC and getting snubbed like FSU did last year.

They don't mean much. I mean 13-1 ND is a 9 seed with wins over Maryland and Alabama and the only loss to a good Butler team. Meanwhile 13-2 Maryland is a 5??

Jan 6 Boston College
Jan 9 Clemson
Jan 13 @Wake Forest
Jan 20 Duke
Jan 24 Virginia
Jan 31 @Virginia Tech
Feb 3 North Carolina
Feb 6 @Georgia Tech
Feb 10 @Miami (Fla.)
Feb 14 Maryland
Feb 18 Virginia Tech
Feb 21 @North Carolina
Feb 24 @Florida St.
Feb 28 Wake Forest
Mar 3 @Maryland

winning 8 of these games is by no means impossible.....I wouldn't bet on it, but it could happen

We did a pretty good job of racking up some wins in our non-conference schedule to put us in a position where there is a reasonable chance for the tourney going into the meat of the ACC schedule, and that's really all we can ask for at this point.....i'm pretty happy so far.

If nine acc teams make it, they will all have a decent chance of making a good run. The ACC is deep this year.
