I posted this link last week:http://brentroad.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=442411It died down on TWW so I figured that was it for a while. I check my hosting account today and I've pushed 200 gigs in less than a week.(thanks to Digg, del.icio.us, etc) My limit should have been 20. I have no idea why they didn't cut me off.The site is just overlays of two photos on each page. Each of the two photos averages 150kb a piece(640x480), though I might could shrink that a bit.So how do I sustain this? Progress Systems doesn't even offer such a shared hosting package. TQHosting has a 1000gb cap on a dedicated server, but I don't know how much that's going to run. What hosts can you guys recommend? Also, what's your experience with something like Google Ads? What kind of revenue can I expect per page view? I just want enough to pay the bill, basically.

I'd try to get it hosted on campus hardware. Someone around here is bound to be intereted enough to offer you space.

I just had a second thought. Increase the compression and optimize the color palette on your images to reduce file size. The Photoshop Save for Web function is a good tool for this.

google ads pays for my hosting and other expenses...I get about 6 bucks per 1k page views...With 30-60k page views per month, you can definately make due, and get a little for your time as well.
