He better give love to Rivers, he is the one that got his ass drafted. I think his contract is up after this year be nice to see him go to the Chargers.

p riv has been getting ridiculous love from the media. all the halftime shows yesterday were gushing over him. the chargers and rivers got major analysis time on sportscenter - the blitz, and rivers specifically got some fantastic analysis later on in sportscenter from salisbury. then, mike and mike gave him some love this morning. now, cold pizza has been talking about him all morning, every guest they've had on so far, they've asked them about p riv. he is getting ridiculous love!
11/13/2006 11:08:18 AM
I know i am still for J-Co be picked up by the Chargers.

i don't know. some years ago, like j-cotch's sophomore year? other than p riv, who else has a similar nickname???specifically for jerricho, i always thought "cotch" was a play on "clutch" or "catch". it's pretty appropriate given how clutch cotchery was while here and is now playing with the jets. "cotch" is just a natural nickname for him. even the jets fans are calling him that. i call him "j-cotch", "j-co", and sometimes just "cotch".[Edited on November 13, 2006 at 11:15 AM. Reason : ]

great interview for him. he was well composed, coherent, and positive. also got some great superlatives from his head coach, mangini.
11/13/2006 11:38:12 AM
^anything he said in particular that stood out?
11/13/2006 11:48:20 AM
spoke mostly about the jets' win over the pats, the jets' future and playoff hopes, pennington and the difference this year from the previous two. no mention of state or rivers. that's fine though. this was j-co's time.the interview was geared more towards the jets as a team than jerricho cotchery. the line of questioning really didn't bring up his single performance last night. i figured she (can't remember her name right now) would atleast ask j-co about his brillant td catch. i don't think she had any idea about him having played at state with rivers (who is a big story this morning after last night's game).
11/13/2006 11:49:39 AM
yeah thats ok though...woulda been nice for them to ask about that catch and run a few highlights. He's been the man this year.
