11/12/2006 1:31:56 PM

I saw them here with Snoop Dog as well, and I was about to say, no way tickets are $185, because that other concert wasn't anything near sold out
11/12/2006 7:21:54 PM
presale begins on the 14th, guess you can find out real prices then I might go for Gnarls Barkley]
11/12/2006 7:30:29 PM
11/12/2006 7:44:08 PM

http://www.rbccenter.com/events/upcomingevents.asp?event_id=236&month=1&year=2007$58.50
11/12/2006 9:47:04 PM
alright, maybe what I read was a typo. That is still pricey, but affordable.
11/12/2006 11:16:08 PM
there are a few bands i wouldnt mind paying $60 to go see, red hot chilli peppers are not one of them.
11/12/2006 11:17:11 PM
i'll probably go to this for $60 since it's rhcp and gnarls. if it was one or the other, no.
11/12/2006 11:30:18 PM
anyone know the password to the fan club presale that just started?
11/14/2006 10:01:19 AM
apparently you have to be a fan club member in order to get the presale...at least through slick deals that is so
11/14/2006 11:07:42 AM
yeah i figured it out. joined the club for $30 and bought some floor seats in the presale.they give you personalized PW's so you can't even share them[Edited on November 14, 2006 at 11:17 AM. Reason : ]
11/14/2006 11:17:04 AM
^ How much?
11/14/2006 11:26:39 AM
its already a high enough price as is without joining the fan clubi dont need to see them that badly
11/14/2006 11:45:01 AM
yeah it's a christmas gift for my brothertickets were $58.60 each plus a "convenience" charge of $10 each.i ended up paying like $137 for two tickets on top of the fan club price.i wouldn't generally spend that much on tickets to a concert, but it's a gift that i know will be much appreciated so that makes it better. plus i get to go too and the last time i saw them (w/foo fighters a long time ago) i got in for free so i guess it sort of averages out
11/14/2006 12:10:19 PM
never been to a concert at RBC before and trying to figure out how a group of us are gonna get tickets in the same spot.. are their sections that are open seating or are they all assigned seats?
11/14/2006 7:52:25 PM
mine have seat numbers and everything
11/14/2006 8:26:54 PM
OMG THE TICKETS ARE LIKE ELEVENDY BILLION DOLLARS EACHFOR THE NOSEBLEEDS[Edited on November 14, 2006 at 8:38 PM. Reason : ps: post BLSM sucks penis]

11/14/2006 8:57:04 PM

11/15/2006 9:39:49 AM
how does BLSM stand for blood sugar sex magic. wouldnt it be BSSM?
11/15/2006 9:42:05 AM
PET PEEVE ALERTI hate it when people refer to an album as "a CD." CDs are a format that albums are released on.
11/15/2006 10:25:28 AM
^^^^^tickets are $58.60 plus the $10 convenience charge, so i guess you could say $70 each to be safe.my total came out to be $137 and change for 2 tickets.^nobody gives a fuck about your pet peeves[Edited on November 15, 2006 at 10:26 AM. Reason : ]
11/15/2006 10:25:34 AM
PET PEEVE ALERTIf I pay to see RHCP, I don't want to hear Tom Petty covers.
11/15/2006 10:33:40 AM
RHCP is one of my all-time favs, and their concerts are great, but come-on, how can you validate spending that kind of money for a concert when so many great bands will play in a venue where you can, i don't know... actually see? for 25 bucks or less.
11/15/2006 10:36:00 AM
agreed. i could see paying that much in a smaller venue because of less tickets being sold, but ill be damned if im going to pay that much to see a band at the RBC center. the sound there is horrible.
11/15/2006 10:39:05 AM
and honestly, at a venue like the RBC, you are watching the concert on the tvs for the most-part, might as well wait for the concert tour dvd.
11/15/2006 10:40:27 AM
The only time I paid that kind of money for a show in a venue even close to that size was SP in Charlotte on the Adore tour. It was in that large theater next to the Cricket Arena, and it was $40, but it all went to charity.
11/15/2006 10:53:25 AM
been a big RHCP fan since the BSSM "album" so I think I can sacrafice a few things to go to the concert since they've finally decided to come around here
11/15/2006 11:15:38 AM
Somebody please buy me a ticket to this for christmas. PLEASE!!
11/15/2006 11:18:23 AM

11/19/2006 9:49:47 PM

1/20/2007 9:39:45 PM

Coffee Shop is one of their best songs. as is walkabout[Edited on January 20, 2007 at 10:09 PM. Reason : fdsa]
1/20/2007 10:00:46 PM
