I just looked up Harry's Guitar Shop on Glenwood South and they want $30/hour...just trying to shop for options.

Input?

i want lessons. I like to ask questions.

Get a 4 string (nothing more to start for the love of god) and you can teach yourself if you mess around with it enough and try to play with your favorite songs.

$30 is prolly the cheapest you'll find but like they've said above teaching yourself is the best way to learn if you've got any natural talent. Starting to play bass is a lot easier than starting guitar or drums imo.

teach yourself! it's bass.
buy a video if you want (for technique), but go online and get some bass tabs. you'll be surprised how easy it becomes

Most people don't need bass lessons.

I mean, it's bass. Just play it.

That doesn't rhyme. Please don't write anything if that impresses you.
