I was cleaning out my closet as I'll be moving and realised that I have accumulated quite a lot of clothes (jackets, shirts, pants, shorts..) that I don't need and would like to get rid off. They are not "like new", but none of them are out of shape / torn and are perfectly usable. Having said that, does anyone know of places in and around Raleigh where I can donate my clothes ?? I looked at goodwill community website, but I have a feeling that they accept only "like new" items. Besides, I am not looking to get any money for it. I can't donate them to UNICEF or other child relief orgs coz they are not children's clothes! Any ideas?

you can donate to the salvation army as long as they aren't torn or anything

There is a Goodwill donation center off of Hilburn drive, in the shopping center with the Lowes, Linens & Things, Food Lion, etc. They take anything. That's where I brought absolutely everything that I didn't want when I moved. And believe me, if you've ever been in a Goodwill, you would know that they do not follow that "like new" rule.
