I've been trying to burn VCDs but it takes about 6-8 hours to finish. The burning is quick but encoding the video takes forever. Is there a way to do this faster or a program that might be faster?

Hey, Noen, you do realize that there are plenty of LEGAL USES of VCDs as a medium, right? Way to not help.

What program are you using now?And generally, you'll need a faster computer to make the encoding go faster. Plan your encoding to occur during times you aren't using your computer (class, work, sleep, etc.).

Yeah you might want to invest in a much more powerful computer. That's like 9 generations behind and for what you want to do for about $200 you can bring it up to speed. You need 1gig of ram and get a athlon xp 3700 combo that newegg is selling. ~$212+ shipping.
