George W. Bush: GREAT president...or GREATEST president?

dude, he won't legalize pot. he sucks!
11/6/2006 2:54:39 PM
Democrats think he is the anti-christ. Tons of Rebublicans hate him and are trying to get through this presidency with as little collateral damage to the GOP as possible while not alienating themselves from the party.Even insinuating that he is the greatest president ever makes me think you slept with your cousin . . . ney, your sister, one too many times.

only time will tellbut i sincerely doubt he'll be as bad as LBJ, Carter, Pierce, or HooverBest Presidents, imho, Jackson, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Nixon. Yes, I said nixon.
11/6/2006 3:08:02 PM
I think time will only tell what kind of president he was as well.I think he'll wind up somewhere in the middle. War criminal? Perhaps, but so was Andrew Jackson and he ended up on the fucking 20.I don't know enough about each president to tell you what I thought of them, but here are a few of my best/worstBest: Teddy Roosevelt, Jefferson, Lincoln, ReaganWorst: Carter, Hoover, FDR
11/6/2006 3:15:45 PM
he is the greatest. i think our kids will be the ones to unanimously testify to that. he is the greatest though.

^not personally speaking, but many blame his New Deal for the massive presence of a welfare system and mishandling a boatload of govt/tax money
11/6/2006 4:29:18 PM
his first and second new deal programs greatly eased the terrible effects of the great depression. obviously hoover's policies before him weren't working. hoover's last year in office was the worst year of the great depression. but, whatever. FDR, one of the 3 worst presidents ever. OKAY! everyone gets an opinion[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 4:32 PM. Reason : ,]
11/6/2006 4:31:24 PM
Hoover was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.get off the poor dude
11/6/2006 4:32:03 PM
i am not saying FDR is one of the worst presidentsbut many would say his new deal EXTENDED the great depression, and did not ease the effects
11/6/2006 4:32:43 PM
uhhhhhhh, if many people are saying that, many people are pretty damn incorrect
11/6/2006 4:34:55 PM
well plenty of people didnt like the effects of the New Dealyou asked...
11/6/2006 4:36:14 PM
11/6/2006 4:38:16 PM
hoover and carter, to a lesser extent, were both pretty bad dude

11/6/2006 4:40:24 PM
plenty of people think the moon is made of cheeseplenty of people think elvis pressley is still aliveplenty of people think FDR was one of the best presidents ever
11/6/2006 4:42:48 PM

11/6/2006 4:56:17 PM
^ i agree with this
11/6/2006 5:01:28 PM
you don't have to hate bush to know he's nowhere close to greatest, nor ONE of the greatest ever
11/6/2006 5:43:35 PM
you dont have to love Bush to know he's still got a couple years in office and it wont be until many years down the line that people can even give some kind of realistic rating of his overall presidency
11/6/2006 5:47:35 PM
something tells me he wont be viewed that positively down the line
11/6/2006 5:50:21 PM
well only time will tellbut we have to at least see what he does in his last 2 years, as well as see what impacts his entire term have on the next few years or administrations or decades before we can give any type of semi-accurate assessment...you cant just go on some bad press while he's in office...that would be absurdly shortsighted
11/6/2006 5:52:21 PM
He is the best president of all time(for Christians). He has destroyed separation of Church and State. He has protected helpless blastocysts by nearly banning embryonic stem cell research. He has led the US into another Crusade against Islam. He has protected the livelihood of Christians in the petroleum and the defense sectors. He has decimated the atheistic science community(them bunch of monkeys). He has destroyed US public schools to pave the way for government funded Church schools. He has protected the US from those secularist in Europe by offending each and every ally of the US. He has set up an endless string of conflicts for years to come so the US will always be in a state of war and he and his successors will enjoy dictatorial power. Premier George W. Bush, I support your war of terror!

^^my only hope is that florida secedes on its own and becomes its own uber-country then if i plan on moving back eventually I like Carter as a person, not as a president. He wasn't slick enough and he had trouble being a liar and a cheat like most presidents. I like TR as a person and president. He's #1 on my list, the only president I really admire. ^social safety nets are inevitable to combat poverty. i mean, find one successful nation that doesn't have one, or some other kind of gov. control over economy and welfare.[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 11:50 PM.
