besides Tom Brady, you are fucking horrible3 INTs resulted from you dropping catchable passes.Maybe it is time for NE to stop letting good offensive players leave via FA

^^ You can hop off of Mannings dick anytime soon. I'm sure he isn't reading TWW tonight after the game. But yeah, I'm a Jets fan and don't like the Pats too much but they were awful tonight. Brady certainly didn't deserve 4 INTs[Edited on November 5, 2006 at 11:48 PM. Reason : x]
11/5/2006 11:47:25 PM
they should pay some players what they deservebut this way they get 3 super bowls, so I am sure belichick knows what he's doing
11/5/2006 11:48:05 PM
11/5/2006 11:49:13 PM
Brady can only do so muchthe offensive players they roll out there have been getting worse and worse over the years.
11/5/2006 11:49:17 PM
itd be interesting to see what Brady could do with Harrison, Wayne, Clark, etc
11/5/2006 11:50:09 PM
HA HHAHAHA it would be WAY more interesting to see what Manning could do with the typical Pats defense/special teams over the last 5 yearsand I just KNOW that all the fuckheads were eagerly awaiting a late win by the Pats so they could do some Manning bashing for no reason[Edited on November 5, 2006 at 11:55 PM. Reason : d]
11/5/2006 11:52:03 PM
i wasnt arguing, no need to defend your goldenboy, just wondering what Brady could do with any decent offensive players
11/5/2006 11:55:04 PM
good call
11/5/2006 11:55:05 PM
I like Brady, hes good, really really good, I think he will go down as one of the top 2-3 QBs ever, but I just dont understand the Manning bashing. I know its just people hating the good guy, the guy that always says the right thing etc. People love to see a good guy fall. Just say that the Pats got a last second TD, went for 2 (which they wouldnt, but just say they did) and won, everyone would have been claiming Manning choked and Brady was the greatest ever even though Manning had a much better game.
11/5/2006 11:57:51 PM
i disagreeeveryone would be like omg the kicker choked[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:00 AM. Reason : people hate players who the media blow up (vick, etc)]
11/5/2006 11:59:44 PM
^ no way, it would be "manning lost to the Pats again", "Manning couldnt overcome like Brady" blah blah blah. Brady is just as much of a media darling as Manning, if not more.[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:04 AM. Reason : d]
11/6/2006 12:03:04 AM
Brady has won the games that mattered, where as Peyton hasnt. Dude has 3 ringsYou cant deny that, but a lot of Manning's hate is unjustified.
11/6/2006 12:06:46 AM
The manning hate comes from the fact that he looks like a bigger faggot and he is THE post-season choker. Rome hates a LOSER
11/6/2006 12:08:42 AM
no, the Pats have won three rings, not just Brady. Once again, you switch them out, give Manning that defense/special teams/Belichick for 5 straight years, and I have NO doubt that he would have won at LEAST 1 ring.[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:11 AM. Reason : d]
11/6/2006 12:10:48 AM
^Maybe if Peyton took a pay cut, they could afford all of that shit. You couldn't just put peyton in NE without affecting those other things.
11/6/2006 12:35:58 AM
I agree with Jaybee, which is saying something considering how much I hate UT.
11/6/2006 12:44:25 AM
^^oh is that what it is???? I see, I didnt realize that... so I guess Manning didnt restructure his contract to help the team?lets see, the 2005 cap impact for Manning was $ 8,435,186 and for Brady, the 2005 cap impact was $ 8,427,930 yeah, that extra 8,000 kept them from signing Seau[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:48 AM. 11/6/2006 12:48:43 AM
^^now see, that type of post I dont mind... its logical, based on facts etc.but I counter that the 17 total points shows just how good that the Pats D was those years...^ heard it this morning, when I first heard they were arrested I was like, "oh shit, here we go again", but its underage drinking and yelling, doesnt bother me too much, standard college activity. I was expecting a rape, or beating a cop or drunk driving etc[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:51 AM. Reason : d]

I wonder how many points Brady could have put up in those years with Harrison, Wayne, Clark, Edgerrin James, etc...I don't really like Brady that much (I like Peyton more), but he's done a ridiculous job with the shitty collection of WRs he's had over the years (especially this year).Maybe it's the Colts' front office that's to blame. Maybe they could release Wayne and add a little more on defense.
11/6/2006 12:55:05 AM
^^^it woke me up this morning on the radio hahaha. the announcer said "...and tennessee lost another close one last night and after the game got some even worse news..." which is when my head snapped up, just knew it would be Ainge having to be amputated or Meachem dead or something^^ what???^ thing is, they have gradually gotten better, and losing Edge freed up a lot of room. Just need to address the run defense[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 12:57 AM. Reason : d]

^^ The point is that the patriots won those superbowls in part because Brady had a MUCH lower cap hit. It has ramped up a lot in recent years. If you want to blame peyton's team for his suckiness in past years, first blame his unwillingness to take Tom Brady pay to get the same team that Tom Brady had. Peyton was the reason he didn't have a good team. This is why he's not going to get much sympathy because his teams weren't as good as the pats.
11/6/2006 1:04:33 AM
I disagree... but just for arguments sake lets say thats the reason... why isnt it also Harrison's fault? Edge's fault? etc[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 1:18 AM. Reason : d]
11/6/2006 1:08:28 AM
You have forgotten what we were talking about -- - Why do people hate peyton more? -> He is a loser (and looks like a faggot).- But Brady had a better team! -> Because brady was paid a lot less than Peyton. The opportunity cost of having Peyton was having a suckier team. The Patriots did not have to pay this same opportunity cost.- But other Colts players are paid a lot, too! -> Does absolutely nothing to change the above fact.Peyton is still a playoff loser, and his team is still questionable because of his high salary. There is no reason, here, for us to change our opinion of him.I also don't think it's a coincidence that teams with "bargain" QBs have won the superbowl recently.
11/6/2006 1:23:59 AM
but you claim that they have lost because of Manning and his salary... even though other players on the colts have made approx the same amount so wouldnt they be equally at blame?
11/6/2006 1:25:20 AM
We are comparing the love of brady to the hate of manning, and the point is that Manning hurt his team over the years a lot more than Brady with his salary cap charge. The other colts have absolutely no relevance to this comparison. The opportunity cost of Peyton alone was probably another impact defensive player. I'm sure they paid some steep opportunity costs with other players, but that doesnt change the fact that they already paid one wrt Peyton -- one that the Patriots didnt have to pay.[Edited on November 6, 2006 at 1:39 AM. 11/6/2006 12:06:47 PM
brady is overrated.
