The event, called "Cotton. From Blue to Green," is part of Cotton's Dirty Laundry Tour, which teaches students about cotton clothing, its benefits and care tips. For every donated pair of denims, Cotton Inc. will recycle the fabric and convert it into UltraTouch, a natural cotton fiber insulation. The insulation will be used to reconstruct schools damaged by Hurricane Katrina. To incent students, retailer Buckle is handing out coupons for $5 off the purchase of a pair of jeans for every piece of denim clothing donated. We will be having drop boxes within the week around residence halls and we will also be in the brickyard on Nov. 6th from 11-4 pm with games and prizes while you drop off your old denim items (jeans, skirts, tops, jackets etc).http://www.accesscotton.com
