not a big savings, but you can get EarthLink cable modem service for 41.95/mo, and it's the exact same thing as Road Runner

my gf got clearwire and we both like it so far...first two months are $6, after that you can get half-speed for $30, and $37 for full-speed...cool thing about clearwire (imo) is that shortly they're supposed to pcmcia/usb cards that will allow you to travel with your high-speed connection, so anywhere you can get a clearwire signal, you're good
