Because it is inevitable that this season will be filled with OMGs, WTF's, and ROFL's for this kid.Let it begin.

since i wont get answers on the other threads..what color is the parking pass for fairground lots for the GT game
11/3/2006 9:34:16 PM
FIRE SIDNEY!
11/3/2006 9:34:28 PM
parking pass is gay bluei'd rather have kevin costner play in crunch time than this guy that constantly plays on lollerskates
11/3/2006 9:39:34 PM
11/3/2006 9:39:41 PM
11/3/2006 10:03:00 PM
hahahahahaha
11/3/2006 10:03:39 PM
He will be a huge bust. He might pull a marcus melvin and only become good when he realizes he has wasted 3 years.
11/3/2006 10:18:08 PM
I dont like this thread. Costner is pretty good on the defensive end of the floor, and he clearly knows how to play basketball...he just looks uncomfortable.
11/4/2006 12:12:55 AM
^When did you get free?Costner is still a FRESHMAN, how can he be a bust?I think he has the most potential of anyone out there.
11/4/2006 12:14:18 AM
he looked really really unsure of his role in the offensive set. hopefully lowe catches that in the game tape and just says "son, ball your fucking brains out like we know your McD's AA ass is able"^ technically a RS Fresh thought right[Edited on November 4, 2006 at 12:15 AM. Reason : ^]
11/4/2006 12:14:57 AM
Yeah he is a redshirt freshman, but he only played in 4 games last year.He like everyone else is also learning a new system, give the cat some time.By the end of the year Ill say he will be our top player.
11/4/2006 12:16:53 AM
like i said, hopefully when he gets comfortable lowe will just give him the greenlight.
11/4/2006 12:18:17 AM
11/4/2006 12:21:42 AM
He doesn't blow on offense...he is playing out of sync right now or something. He has a silky smooth shot that was just off tonight. Mark my words....he WILL be better than Marcus Melvin by next year. (just b/c thats the player he reminds me of)
11/4/2006 12:28:59 AM
I just think he has jitters. He's young, trying to discover himself. He's definitely a future star here.He has all the attributes, once he learns how to utilize them, he'll be a force. I expect to see him develope this year, not take off till later on tho'. Kinda like grant did.[Edited on November 4, 2006 at 12:34 AM. Reason : .]
11/4/2006 12:30:27 AM
I dont think anyone on this team will develope
11/4/2006 12:39:36 AM
Develop, my biggidybad.
11/4/2006 12:42:45 AM
wrong, dennis horner will develop quite nicely.
11/4/2006 12:47:07 AM
What is victory? Is it when you prevail when no one expects you to win... when no one gives you a chance in hell? What is true support? Is it when you support the underdogs who defy the tyranny of the strong and passionately prevail? What is heart? Is it when you believe, not because you have the best arsenal at your disposal, but because you fight with an inner-fire that cannot be stamped out... even by the most formidable of foes? What is a team?Knowing that anything is possible, as long as you believe, and fight as one.[Edited on November 4, 2006 at 1:06 AM. ^ That has to be a joke, or copied from some terrible chain mail.
11/4/2006 11:24:58 AM
went to the game last night. Costner needs to get his ass into the paint. He and McCauley are the only decent post players we got.
11/4/2006 11:35:05 AM
Costner has a really good handle for a guy his size, he is suprisingly quick with the ball.
11/4/2006 11:47:35 AM
Good handle bad hustle
11/4/2006 12:00:15 PM
^in the blink of an eye, his whole life channnnnnnnged
11/4/2006 12:08:05 PM
Horner impressed me last night. I wish he would have got some more time. His 3 pt shot looked silky smooth. Costner will be fine. I just think you people are evaluating him too harshly, b/c he is a McD's AA. Let's remember that he had those two injuries that have cost him valuable time here.
11/4/2006 12:42:56 PM
Not my #23.Also, calling someone's shot "silky smooth" is pretty gay.
11/4/2006 12:57:21 PM
you know what i mean. the mechanics are spot on, the release is damn near perfect, and he seems to hit nothing but the bottom of the net a lot of the time.
11/4/2006 1:06:16 PM
he seems to hit nothing. There are plenty of kids at ncsu with great shots. It takes a hell of a lot more to play on this level. Costner doesn't have it -- the worth ethic nor the attitude.
11/4/2006 1:15:12 PM
he has a fly ass car with Jersey tags
11/4/2006 1:18:59 PM
^who Costner or Horner? they're both from Jersey.
11/4/2006 1:21:42 PM
Did you watch the game lat night? Costner had a team leading 8 boards and was a good presence under the basket. His posision defence is decent, where as people were just flying past McCauley.Costner is a little different because he is always looking for a shot, and a lot of the times he was lagging behind in transistion so that he could hit the spot up three. Once his shots start to fall, then it wont be a huge problem. In general, everyone looked kind of laggish last night except for Fells.[Edited on November 4, 2006 at 1:25 PM. 11/4/2006 1:23:38 PM
ive seen costner's car at the reynolds deck, didnt look that fly
11/4/2006 1:30:42 PM
^^^^Acura with Seton Hall Prep sticker?
11/4/2006 1:34:44 PM
My point is since we don't have any inside player, Costner needs to stay inside and provide some inside scoring.
11/5/2006 7:43:38 PM
11/6/2006 6:31:22 AM
bttt for a hilarious missed one handed jam last nightYOU CAN'T DUNK WITH LOLERSKATES ON
11/8/2006 8:17:39 AM
not really a big deal. woulda been if he made it. i'll take that over another missed 3-pointer any day.also, as poorly as he shot from the field (0-4 i think), the dude nabbed 11 rebounds (about 1/3 of the total rebounds for the team). next closest was grant w/7. even if he doesn't improve anything else about his game at all, we still need this dude on the floor for his rebounding alone. his presence on the boards was obviously missed when he came out of the game.Ben McCauley only ended up with 5 boards, and half of those came off of his own misses under the basket. Nothing against ben or anything, but we really need brandon in there.that said, i agree with lowe's comments that he made after the game about brandon. he said that the rebounding was huge for the team and that he told him to just keep going out there and doing that and the rest will come on its own.
11/8/2006 8:25:50 AM
I can deal with Brandon missing shots as long as he keeps up the defensive effort especially on the boards. His shot is silky smooth, its just not falling for him right now. Its not like he shouldnt be out there taking 3's, maybe he should just not take as many until he gets his shot back. The kid is a shooter though, and you dont tell shooters to stop...it fucks with their head even more.
11/8/2006 9:48:07 AM
just please dont be the next levi watkinsgood looking before the injury and then complete shit for the rest
11/8/2006 9:56:20 AM
well hes wearing 33we all know what guys wearing 33 do hereleave early
11/8/2006 10:34:33 AM
when he came in i thought everyone said he was supposed to be good from the outside, but i think i have seen him take about 15 3's since he got here and i have only seen him make 1.
11/8/2006 12:08:39 PM
11/8/2006 12:17:21 PM
he pulled down a rebound and was all AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHso thats his new nickname. we started saying it everytime he got a rebounddude is a beast and his stots will fall sooner or later because he looks good and looks good shooting them and makes them in practice (or he wouldnt take them in the game)
11/8/2006 12:22:13 PM
lollerskates...the missed dunk was classic
11/8/2006 12:40:18 PM
he needs to DRIVE THE LANE instead of shooting 3's.. maybe.
11/8/2006 1:26:05 PM
this is is the biggest baby on the team and u can tell sidney knows this
11/8/2006 1:38:25 PM
pwnt.and espn has him listed as a Fr?
11/18/2006 6:42:16 PM
That would be because he's a freshman.
11/18/2006 6:43:58 PM
redshirt.
