Also, I guess this is a good place to point out that the deficit has been decreasing pretty handily over this fiscal year and will continue to do so, as corporate profitability has been fantastic. Also, real wages have risen over the last quarter, as is to be expected (it is one of the last things to budge after a recession). I want to point this trend out before the democrats take house and claim they did it.
11/2/2006 1:53:58 PM
stock market seems to be on the up and up also
11/2/2006 2:22:16 PM

I registered to vote in Wake County in September. But, I haven't gotten my registration card yet. I'm still going though.Useless TriviaSupposedly they won't turn down any voter according to my buddy who volunteers for the voting booths. You can be green, 2 feet tall, have antennas for ears, and supposedly they won't turn you down. Of course, those types of votes go through a screening process.
11/2/2006 2:56:40 PM
^they can't turn you down by law. you get a provisional ballot, which goes in a separate stack. all provisional ballots get counted over the 2-3 weeks between Election Day and when final certified results are actually filed---
11/2/2006 3:56:28 PM
I'm going to do the same I do every time.Voting "No" on all bond issues, and leaving the rest blank.
11/2/2006 4:14:56 PM

11/2/2006 5:05:46 PM

11/2/2006 9:15:42 PM
i was going to vote yes, but then i realized that the best way to inspire the real drastic reform we need is to starve those who have grown lazy of the money they want.
11/2/2006 9:18:49 PM

I got a 324 out of 350, I thought I'd do better I feel really stupid for thinking the Queen was Barbara Bush. Honest mistake, right? Also, I know now that I don't watch enough TV news, because I had no idea what Tony Snow looked like.

11/3/2006 2:28:15 AM
I missed Ban-Ki Moon too, and..... Alec Baldwin, because 1) He looked really fat, and 2) all the previous pictures had been political figures, so I didn't think they would have actors in there.

Yeah, they really should have asked us policy questions.
11/4/2006 1:07:10 AM
Dude, knowing who Queen Elizabeth II is is totally going to help me decide who should legislate policy.
11/4/2006 8:17:05 AM
Knowing who Alec Baldwin was gave us points. That should have at least been neutral to the score.
11/4/2006 9:55:11 AM
damnit I need to watch more tv. I got all the main stuff right but missed the minority leaders and stuff like that.It said instead of voting I should consider moving to france
