If you like X-Men Legends, you will definitely like this game. I got the last PS2 copy from TRU on Thursday. I've almost completed Act I, but I have unlocked Dr. Strange. Anyone else have it?BTW, couldn't find a thread about it on TWW, so if anyone else has a link, sorry that I made this thread.

I <3 these games. Gonna get it for ze Holidays
10/30/2006 11:53:18 AM
yeah, I have it for 360, its been beaten, you can unlock Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Daredevil, Blade, Nick Fury, and Black Panther. Its pretty cool...
10/30/2006 11:57:57 AM
Yeah, a good action RPG will do that. I have X-Men Legends 2, and the only thing I don't necessarily like in M:UA is the fact that you can't heal characters with potions. You have to beat enemies to get health back. At least the good thing is that block and flying don't take valuable upgrade pts or MP. Block is actually very useful.[Edited on October 30, 2006 at 12:02 PM. Reason : Spider-Woman is actually a good character. Did I really say that?]
10/30/2006 12:00:24 PM
I like Wolverine, he's a badass, I was playing with my friends fighting a boss, they all died, but wolverine stays alive because he revives. Its sweet... I also have his suit the yellow and black/blue one.
10/30/2006 12:03:59 PM
I've only played the first bit of this game, but it looks good. The chatacter upgrades seem to be simplified from X-Men Legends II.
10/30/2006 12:04:57 PM
I think they should get together with all the other comic book people, DC, McFarlane, etc. and get all the superheroes in a game, and they could split profits by the percentage of their characters that are in the game. That game would be freaking awesome, but of course, would never happen.
10/30/2006 12:11:12 PM
I am looking fwd to the Holidays to buy & play this game....it looks like it is rockin... III&FC
10/30/2006 12:14:10 PM
I can't decide if I like this game more or Justice League Heroes more.
10/30/2006 12:15:51 PM
^Same thought, but I think i will get both and play both over Holidays... III&FC
10/30/2006 12:19:20 PM
It looks similar to X-Men Legends 2 (I never played 1). Is it as easy? I breezed through X-Men L2 without allocating any skill points for any characters - other than opening the fly ability to those that could.
10/30/2006 12:45:31 PM
I really don't think it's easy. I think it's pretty challenging, but I'm starting out on normal.[Edited on October 30, 2006 at 12:51 PM. Reason : Seriously. Spider-Woman.]
10/30/2006 12:50:16 PM
i cant wait til i get to play this game...
10/30/2006 1:00:11 PM
I can't wait until I can unlock the Symbiotic Suit for Spider-Man.I think it's pretty deep considering you can upgrade the outfits, and each outfit gives you different advantages.
10/30/2006 3:20:07 PM
I think i have beat act one and i already unlocked the symbiotic suit for spidey. I dont know what you have to do to unlock the suits. I like this game alot and I think the differences from XML 2 are good for he most part.
10/30/2006 4:53:54 PM
yea, i got the black spidey costume and war machine. now i just want us agent
10/30/2006 7:17:25 PM
I'm out until someone finds a way to unlock Howard the Duck.Actually, I'm just out until X-Mas...
10/30/2006 7:51:18 PM
i'm debating between this and the justice league one
10/30/2006 8:24:01 PM
ill probably put it up for sale in a couple weeks when im done with it
10/30/2006 8:39:18 PM
did you beat the Cap comic mission urge311? I have also unlocked the US Agent skin
10/30/2006 10:06:48 PM
i beat 1 cap comic mission, but it wasnt the one that rewarded us agent
10/30/2006 11:07:25 PM
anyone think the comic missions are much harder than the regular game?
10/31/2006 8:36:29 AM
The comic missions are harder b/c your character is not as strong early in the game. I think if you build him/her up more, it'll be a LOT easier.I did unlock the Symbiotic Suit last night, and it's awesome. I think I'm at the part where I might be close to facing Arcade. Not sure though. Played the Pitfall mini-game last night too. Crazy.
10/31/2006 8:41:54 AM
screen shots?
10/31/2006 8:42:24 AM
PS2, XBoxXBox 360
10/31/2006 8:46:35 AM
Sorry for double posting, but it's been at least a day. How difficult do you think the comic book missions are? Easy? Hard? Just trying to get a broad sense of the difficulty.
11/1/2006 11:33:14 AM
It really depends on the mission. I tore through Wolverine's with no trouble at all on my first try but still haven't been able to finish Captain America's. It pretty much depends on the objectives that the mission gives you.By the way, does anyone know where Ghost Rider's disc is? I can't seem to find it.*The comic missions also scale with your character level, it seems to get a bit easier the more skills you have but the enemies become much more durable down the road.[Edited on November 1, 2006 at 11:49 AM. Reason : comic]
11/1/2006 11:48:22 AM
It's in Memphisto's Realm. It's on one of those random platforms where you need a flying character to reach it.
11/1/2006 12:09:55 PM
Now that I've seen screenshots of Deadpool, I am highly interested in this game.
11/1/2006 1:55:04 PM
^deadpool was in legends 2 also
11/1/2006 2:09:48 PM
^true indeedI'm kinda glad that you have to make choices that decide the outcome of the game. I've already had to make one, and I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
11/1/2006 2:33:51 PM
plz dont spoil anything, i'm waiting for christmas to get this game. i can't WAIT.
11/1/2006 2:55:23 PM
I beat the Cap comic mission but it took me literally 9 times. As a result my characters leveled pretty nicely. The ghost rider dics is in Mephisto's realm somewhere after you unlock Ghostrider.
11/1/2006 2:56:05 PM
I'm not a true Comic Geek so I don't know all the Heroes..can someone tell me some of the playable characters and what's so special about them or what series were they with?I just got the game but don't remember where all the starting characters are from. Like Mrs. Marvel and I think Luke Cage is from some team but can't recall. I know the Fantastic Four and the XMen characters of course Spidey, IronMan, Thor, GhostRider, DareDevil ...but who are these characters:[Edited on November 1, 2006 at 3:06 PM. Reason : a]
11/1/2006 3:05:35 PM
Luke Cage is from the Heroes for Hire and New Avengers fame. This will probably help you out more:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel:_Ultimate_Alliance[Edited on November 1, 2006 at 3:10 PM. Reason : play on]

I'm at the last level of the game, but I have a problem. There is something I need to give Hank Pym to help me fight Dr. Doom, like a magnetic depressor or something like that. Where is it in Stark Tower? I can't find it, and I have a feeling that it's in the lab area.
11/7/2006 12:54:52 PM
Damn, exams can't get here and over fast enough....I wanna play.... III&FC
11/7/2006 1:05:31 PM
You have to get that game. It's fun, challenging, and has alternate endings. Game is great.
11/7/2006 1:12:49 PM
OK, I just beat the game last night, and it's cool that they show you what you did in the storyline and how it affected the outcome of the universe. I ALMOST got the best ending, and there were two things I did or didn't do to affect the outcome. I'll probably go through it again on Normal and build up characters before I try Hard.
11/8/2006 9:37:01 AM
