I cannot decide who to take for ma 231 for the spring semester. I already have looked on school tool and the grade distributions and it doesn't help. Can anyone tell me who is a better professor: M. Putcha , A. Kheyfets, A. Szanto, or J. Rodriguez???

Most of the people I know agree that anyone is better than J. Rodrigeuz. I didn't think he was going to be here next semester anyway.

Kheyfets. He is so nice, really really really smart and your tests are all open-note. He is kind of weird but I am not a math person and I got it when he explained it.

i liked actually learning stuff, and on top of that he was really nice. i didnt do as well as i usually do in math classes, but id take it with him if i had to do it again. and i had him freshman year, so it was a lower level class (ma241h)ask The Coz, i took that class with him

I had Rodriguez for MA242 in 2001, and he was probably the best math professor I've ever had. He knows the subject inside and out and actually explains it coherently. He doesn't tolerate laziness, though, but he appreciates and rewards effort.
