That's a pretty retarded response...

Study Hall seems to be a lot of people still in school... Perhaps he was trying to gather attention of people who have already graduated and may not check study hall for the latest Professor gripes.

Second, he didn't say he didn't care what section it was in... He actually seems to care which section it was in if you actually pay attention. He wanted in lounge. See.. cares what section.

He wanted HELPFUL responses, thus lounge not chitchat..
