http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot/make sure to get philip hawai'i. not just because he's wolfpack family, but he actually deserves it at this point. he's leading the afc in qb rating despite marty holding him back the first two games, and is 2nd in the nfl behind mcnabb.philip rivers on this season so far:QB Rating on the season: 100.6Yards on the season: 1064Completions and %: 99 | 68.75%Touchdowns v. INTs: 7 vs. 2the problem with pro bowl voting is that it's done by fans. therefore, philip might get shafted. we gotta help him out. peyton is a shoe-in for the pro bowl, barring some crazy collapse or injury. i think tom brady is a favorite for the second spot due to his overrated hype despite him not really doing anything so far this year. that leaves one spot, and i think philip has a very solid shot at it. his competition is carson palmer (not doing what was expected) and david carr (will be hurt by his team's record). although j-cotch doesn't really deserve it, i voted for him. i also voted for deangelo williams, and he should make the probowl if he keeps up his performance.[Edited on October 17, 2006 at 2:21 PM. Actually I think pro bowl voting is like 1/3 fans, 1/3 players & coaches, 1/3 mediaThe fans didnt have any input until a couple of seasons ago.Like i said the rules have changed in the past couple of years so i could be wrong about those percentages now...David Carr wont be any competition he got pulled from the game this week. His numbers are just inflated because they play from behind so much.Carson shouldnt be a pro bowler over Philip as of right now he's only had one game. Peyton should be. Tom Brady should be he's getting it done without much help on offense.... Plummer's spot should definitely be up for grabs.Leftwich should get a lot of consideration.Pennington will get consideration but probably shouldnt over Philip.Daunte Culpepper will get consideration for turning the Miami Dolphins around

oh yeah, don't forget manny (needs to get more tackles, but he already has a blocked punt), sean locklear (deserving, and he punked strahan), and terrence (i know he doesn't deserve it),

If you really want to boost Philip's votes, vote for him and don't use the other 2 votes on anyone.I voted for Mario, Manny, Adrian Wilson, J-Cotch, and both T Holts as well (Adrian, Torry, and possibly Jerricho deserving it)..voted for Locklear as well[Edited on October 17, 2006 at 2:46 PM. i voted for mario too. haha! honestly though, if you look at the other players' stats, mario really is doing pretty well, especially for a 21 year old rookie.

just another example of how 'sports talk' posters love to argue and act snobby. take a look at the threads, and you'll see people arguing when there isn't a disagreement in the first place. crazy, i know.
