10/15/2006 10:13:17 PM
my opponent had holti had smitty
10/15/2006 11:23:29 PM
does it make anyone else annoyed when someone is talking about Philip Rivers and they say PRIV? Im not sure why, but it is annoying. It is either Rivers or Philip Rivers. I dont even know how to pronouce PRIV..is it P-RIV..or like PRIV straight out? Either way it is annoying. However Rivers owns.
10/16/2006 1:37:00 AM

I still refer to him as Pip.
10/16/2006 7:30:15 AM
It was a good day... there were a few other pack players that made plays... What's Terrence Holt up to these days?
10/16/2006 8:58:34 AM
Watching all the games yesterday I wondered:Between Cowher, Holt, Rivers, Cotchery, Hudson, Lawson, and more, has NC State ever been this well represented in the NFL?
10/16/2006 9:39:46 AM
Not that I'm aware of, but I'm not a huge NFL afficianado.
10/16/2006 9:49:36 AM
You forgot Adrian Wilson, Mario Wiliams, Brian Williams, Alvis Whitted, Koren Robinson, Sean Locklear, Scott Kooistra, Terrence Holt, and Stephen Tulloch all who either start or get significant playing time.but.. no, I don't think we've ever had this much NFL representation.
10/16/2006 9:52:45 AM
How do you know I wasnt referring to Terrence Holt and left out Torry Holt? Thank you for all the others though, they were included in the "and more" part of my list
10/16/2006 10:12:59 AM
Tulloch got a block in the back penalty in the Titans gamew00t!
10/16/2006 10:21:03 AM
Ditka just said that Torry Holt is the best wide receiver in the NFLIf Ditka said it, nobody can argue with it. Fuck the haters.
10/16/2006 6:21:56 PM
10/16/2006 6:39:45 PM
Might want to remove Koren Robinson from that list...he isn't exactly representing the University well these days.....

well of course holt will be HOFbut he isnt the best wr and wont ever be. he is a keyshawn johnson type of receiver. excellent route runner, excellent hands, hard worker but he doesnt have the breakaway speed and agility of a smith, moss (santana or randy), or owens.
10/18/2006 2:29:53 PM
^wrong on so many counts.
10/18/2006 2:31:03 PM
Sure, maybe he isn't as fast as Moss or Smith, but he is AT LEAST as fast as Owens. He isn't anywhere near the kind of reciever Keyshawn is, Keyshawn is a POSSESSION reciever, short gains, first downs, move the chains, etc.Torry wouldn't be called "BIG GAME" Torry Holt if he was a possession receiver.[Edited on October 18, 2006 at 2:53 PM. Reason : If I had an accurate and reliable QB, not Delhomme, I would have a hard time taking anyone over Holt][Edited on October 18, 2006 at 2:59 PM. Reason : yeah I was just guessing, knew it was somethin like that]
10/18/2006 2:52:43 PM
not to be an ass, but his nickname is "big game".
10/18/2006 2:58:15 PM
10/18/2006 3:00:40 PM
holler back when Terrell Owens makes a one handed spinning-ball catch for a TD like Torry did on Sunday
10/18/2006 3:25:48 PM
Also Torry has a ring....T.O. doesn't.
10/18/2006 3:30:08 PM
Torry also has teammates who like him and support him and respect him as a person
10/18/2006 3:30:46 PM
had the pleasure of meeting both the Holts - good people
10/18/2006 3:58:25 PM
^They were both very pleasant when I met them.
10/18/2006 4:09:33 PM
10/18/2006 7:15:10 PM
^You dumbfuck.Torry Holt got to 10,000 yards faster than ANYONE...that means Jerry Rice. Through their first 7 seasons Jerry Rice had 526 receptions to Torry Holt's 619. Only category Holt trails Rice in is touchdowns.Torry has it all. He's not the fastest, but he's fast. He won't make defenders miss like Steve Smith...but he still makes a lot miss. And he has the best hands and runs the best routes in the game (remind you of anyone??). And he makes BIG plays. Terrel might be tall and athletic to go up and grab a ball, but he drops almost as many balls as he goes up and gets. You don't have to have red-tinted glasses on to say that Torry will go down as one of the best wide receivers of all time as long as he doesn't get hurt (knock on wood).[Edited on October 18, 2006 at 7:34 PM. Reason : .]
10/18/2006 7:33:02 PM
^ winner! but i disagree on two things: you're not giving terrell enough credit and torry will still be regarded as one of the best even if his career ends after this season.

10/18/2006 8:49:57 PM
