That's not free either. Actually, if you take the review course (E 490) and pay attention, and then don't get complacent during the 8 hour exam, that should be more than enough to pass. No supplemental materials needed. The two most important things are to familiarize yourself with the formula book (provided for a semester if you take he class), and to get an approved calculator and learn to use all its functions. I recommend the FX 115 MS for about $15 at Wal-Mart.

i'm not in school so i have to teach myself

i'd pay for the sample questions from ncees because i heard they were pretty much identical to the ones on the test

you could still attend the ncsu review class. i would recommend that.

i thought about that, but the class has been going since september and i'd just get the tail end of stuff i already went over

i'm fine studying on my own, i just need some more practice questions, specifically electrical

probably the best thing you could do to prepare for the FE is to know where the formulae are in the book (which is online if you don't happen to have a copy). if you're familiar with where the equations are, you should be fine.

and honestly, i wouldn't worry too much if you don't remember everything on one or two topics...if you are pretty confident about most of the rest, you can probably get away with straight-out guessing

yeah i'm just looking for some more sample questions on my field-specific part of the exam though
