The server I run Raige.net and Ninja's Direct.com on took a crapper the other day and froze up. I thought maybe my cat had been hauling ass around and checked it good. So I restart it. Everything works fine for about 1 minute then it freezes up. It's on the network I can get files no problem across the network from it. I can update to it... *freeze*. Interesting. So I first check to see if it's a ram issue and take all the ram out but one and try it. Still freezes. I use all 3 individual sticks of ram to see if it was that. IT still freezes. Note: there are no odd sounds, no drives clicking, no odd power sounds. I also have no trouble pulling data across the network off the main drive or moving it from one drive to another on it. I unplug all unnecessary harddrives, redo the pin config (all normal IDE no SATA and no RAID), it still freezes up. The last time it restarted on it's own. So in your situation would that be the motherboard or the powersupply causing this? The current power supply is a nice one. Diablo 2 etc that I got a while back in a deal. There's no smell by the power supply of burning so this is a bit confusing at this point.

check your CPU temps and fan speedsoh, and the capacitors on the board*[Edited on October 12, 2006 at 8:31 AM. Reason : *look for leakage]
