was listening to it tonight at a friends, gotta say i really like it. i've liked pretty much all their stuff since they were no one wins, but skyler is always an ass so i haven' really been listening to any of their stuff lately.

I heard some bad things about it, but I downloaded it and I like it...it's just a lot different and you're right about it not really sounding like Schuylar. BTW, does anyone know if Schuylar even does the screaming anymore? On Hollywood and the new one the transitions sound like it has to be him, but a review I read said something about another guy screaming and when I saw them live one of the guitarist did all the screaming too.

^^ they both do the yelling but the badass yelling is the guitar player.

its a shame all the decent NCHC bands feel the need to be so preachy. whether its christianty or veganism. just quit the preaching and have fun. look at killwhitneydead. theyre a fucking joke, but its at least fun.

McKenzie has definitely been replaced it seems. I saw them at the cd release party last week and I thought they did pretty well. It was a poor showing for crowd support (especially being in Wilmington), but I enjoyed the show.As far as the album goes, I didn't like it the first couple of times through. It has grown on me a lot and I really enjoy several of the heavier songs on the album. I hope they don't disband, but I can definitely see where egos and behavior could lead to that.

wait so the guitarist that just played the show on the 1st has been kicked out since then?wtf
10/15/2006 7:51:48 PM
I don't know who played on the first, but on Oct. 4, McKenzie (the guy who usually played with the hat on and did a lot of screaming) was not playing with the band.

he wasn't at the ace's greene st. show either... (don't remember which date that was)[Edited on October 15, 2006 at 9:13 PM. Reason : greensboro... it's all the same]

Its really a shame because when they added mckenzie the band became much better. He is an excellent guitarist and screamer. It wont be long now, its a shame to since this album seems to be their biggest hit yet.

i think he was there on the firstthey talked about having a new guitarist or something
