Because I didn't see one and didn't want to make a separate thread about all of the little "observations." I've also come down off the high of the win last night and resulting drunkeness. So my thoughts can be put down clearly now.- How about the defense? FSU couldn't do shit up the middle...which makes me realize even more how shitty of a coach Jeff Bowden is. They have ridiculous speed and could do really well just running to the outside...yet they continued to try and run it up the middle. Dajuan Morgan laid some nasty hits out there...as did the majority of our defense.- Defense also was a "bend but not break" at several key points. It's different holding teams to a field when they are on the 30 or 20 yard line....but when they make a big play and have momentum with 1st and goal inside the 5 and you still hold them to a field goal....that's solid stuff.- What more can you say about Evans?? I honestly had given up on the team this year...and if Stone was still our QB there is no doubt we would be 1-4 right now. We've had these great athletic receivers for 2 years and nobody had any clue because Stone couldn't get them the ball. Evans puts the ball where our receivers can make plays, and sometimes he put it only where they could make plays. I was seriously shocked at the throws he made.- 37 rushing attempts to 22 passing attempts. THANK YOU TRESTMAN. Even if we don't get 5-6 yards a pop on the run...you still run the ball a lot when you have backs like Andre Brown. He's going to break big runs...that's it. You could put him behind a high school OL and he would still break big runs. The guy is really a freak.- I always get happy and shit when we play well...but something about Evans being our QB made it even better last night. He's a legacy, he's family, and you could just tell he wanted it more than anyone out there. I can't imagine how it feels to be him right now. He's living every kid's dream who grew up a Wolfpack fan. I don't how many times I was in my backyard or on my driveway basketball court acting like I was the PG or QB for the wolfpack and leading us to victory hitting the last second shot or throwing/running for a touchdown. This kid has to be floating on cloud 9 right now. And he BETTER be taking advantage of this and getting some Class A pussy. I always felt like Philip being married was one of the biggest panty droppers wasted in the history of college athletics. Daniel Evans...take advantage of this situation.

I was thoroughly impressed last night. I was worried that Evans performance in the BC game was a fluke, but seeing him throw downfield against FSU has me thinking otherwise.Damn well better believe I catch every last game we have this season!
