searched and found nothing.

It premiered tonight (encore tomorrow at 8). Overall i thought it was pretty good, very predictable but im sure it will get better. I enjoyed it, your thoughts?

NBC has really stepped their game up this season, i'm very impressed.

I doubt it can get even half as close to the Movie...I love the movie....I think the best football movie within the last 20 years if not EVA.

Watched the first episode and it was good. I can't knock it about anything yet, b/c I enjoyed every aspect...The football scenes seem to be well played and thought out. A lil' cliche-ish but HS football and HS life is all Cliche'ish no matter how you cut it.

I don't know any of the actors so I look fwd to learning about them and see how they can carry the title.

not bad but it was very predictable.. you knew something was gonna happen to the QB after 10 minutes into the show

^Cliche'ish...I think they combining Varsity Blues with FNL...Starting All American QB down for good...back up comes in and does Good...new strategy to deal with...

Both took place in Texas...so I guess its ok

they started with the backup QB....then later talked about how wonderful the starter was...def. easy to see that something was going to happen and cause the backup to go in

all in all, not too bad...

that was pretty good... not to mention i can't miss a chance to watch some kind of football in hd

I figured it would be predictable and probably a lot like varsity blues, but none the less, great episode

i figured it'd be more like "friday night lights" lol

it was basically the same premise as that, except qb goes down instead of rb

which is also like "varsity blues" i suppose

either way, not bad pilot episode, and since i'm addicted to HD programming i'm sure to continue watching for now

I got a little tired of seeing the NBC truck and crew everywhere. Pilot episode did a good job of keeping the feel of the movie, even kept the Explosions in the Sky music although id imagine theyll change it up during the season.

ehe, i know its network tv but the coach yelling "Horsecrud!" at the ref just doesnt feel like football.

I've liked Kyle Chandler (the guy that plays the coach) in the other stuff I've seen him in ... not that he's been in much. We was in King Kong and an older show called Early Edition that my parents liked to watch.

This show's pretty sappy and cliched, but I'm watching anyways.

It's prally better than most of the crap on, and I have hopes that it'll get better.

But I was hoping for more along the lines of "I give it a 10! A fucking 10!"

Its on the decline. First week it did a 4.7/7 for 3rd. Then this week it only got a damn 4.1/6 and dropped to 4th, only marginally ahead of damn Gilmore Girls on the CW.

For last Tuesday:

Quote :
""Dancing with the Stars" delivered a 12.6/20 in the 8 p.m. hour for ABC. Second place went to CBS' "NCIS," which had a 9.9/15. FOX's baseball was third, outdoing the 4.1/6 for the second episode of NBC's "Friday Night Lights." On The CW, "Gilmore Girls" had a 3.2/5."

Season Premiere:

Quote :
""Dancing with the Stars," 11.4/19, won the 8 p.m. hour for ABC. CBS' "NCIS," 9.7/16, had its best numbers of the young season, possibly benefiting from the absence of FOX's "House." NBC was a distant third with the premiere of "Friday Night Lights," 4.7/7. FOX's coverage of the New York Yankees-Detroit Tigers playoff game was fourth for the hour. "Gilmore Girls" earned a 3.3/5 for The CW."

They need more sex and misbehaviour and less small town gee-golly heartfelt drama.

Watch Varsity Blues and make a show about it.

I am starting to really like this show. I am betting the new black quarterback guy will get moved to another position and do well there (say running back).

receiver would be more likely

they got smash at running back, but i can't think of any receivers that they have really developed as characters.

you got riggins the fullback, smash at running back, the qb, etc. no wr i can think of.

the thing i like about a show involving a high school football team is that it could potentially go on forever, as new characters enter and graduate...

Get rid of the QB, use 2 RBs and hell of a lot of reverses. Sounds like what we need to do.

Seriously, this show is amazing and my favorite show on TV right now, but I can see why it isnt doing well. The series is way too real, the teenagers arent self-aware, and you know some these kids decisions are gonna come back to haunt them. If NBC cancels this show, I hope they tell the writers ahead of time so they can at least give us an ending.

heros is the best show on network tv

BattleStar is the best show on cable non-premie channel IMO
