balls are the coolest part of your body so "hot as balls" just doesnt make sense. you could say like "hot as dick" or "hot as body"

something being the coolest would warrant "as ball" so if its like 50 for the game "damn its cold as balls in the wake of this wake game."

we also want it to be hot because we have a warmer climate than winston salem so our players are more used to warmer temps (warmer temps favor us)

I'm not implying that balls are the warmest part of the human body.

I'm just suggesting that sometimes they can get warm and sweaty and stick to the insides of your legs making it uncomfortable in warm temperatures.

A cooler temperature for a noon kickoff would solve this problem, allowing the balls to be stick free and comfortable.

^^^I'm not anti-NC State. I made the original comment with the spectators in mind. The climate in Winston-Salem is not so different that a warm game time temperature would give us and advantage. I should know, I lived there for 15 years.
