What baffles me is how every Duke ACC game so far this year has been televised (on Raycom). Maybe the pickings are slim when you take out the non-conference matchups, but its still Duke. Duke is at Alabama next week...will that be their SEC game?

dude plenty of guys have played at Duke and gone to the NFL.

In the past few years alone you've got Chris Combs (2nd rd pick i think), Ben Watson (1st rd pick by the patriots), Scottie Montgomery (broncos KR/WR for awhile), Ryan Fowler...

then if you go further back theres guys like Ray Farmer, Dave Brown, theres even a well known hall of famer but i cant remember who right now...

there's an easy solution to this:

don't hire another shitty assistant. after franks, they should have gotten someone from the MAC similar to Grobe at WF. instead, they let a win over UNC trick them into giving an extended contract to an assitant under the previous garbage coach.

they should totally get shane montgomery.

there's a difference between a shithole and a classic arena with a great atmosphere. Cameron is a classic arena with a great atmosphere. Wallace Wade has a great atmosphere for opposing offenses.

duke does have great sports med facilities.

they dug their own hole by hiring ted roof, and before carl franks. there is no reason they couldn't get a good MAC coach and do what WF is doing right now.
