Does NCSU parking still give one-a-year warnings before they issue a real ticket? The reason is I have to go over to centennial a few times for only 20 mins or so, and I don't feel like stopping to pay for the $2 visitor permit for 20 mins of parking.

Not really anymore but it probably depends on who the person working is. With that said Centennial parking seems to be a lot slacker than main campus as far as enforcement.ps, please Terminate ChknMcFaggot

Nada, dude, you park at cent campus, and the parking nazi's will deck your windows with balls of bills.Take the bus there and suffer the 15 minute ride.

Park on Varsity Drive and walk to Centennial. It's about an 8 min walk to EBII. I used to do it all the time before I got a permit.

It's been my understanding that the warnings are once-a-lifetime and are tracked via license plates.

I've gotten two warnings...I got my first one 1.5 years ago...got my 2nd one yesterday.
9/29/2006 2:21:50 PM
I remember when there used to not be warnings so I'm not suprised it's changed since I last bothered to pay attention.

i wouldnt dare say main campus is strictly enforcedi have a before 9-after 2 permit to park in a specific zone on campus, and i never get ticketed and i leave my car there all dayi have left my car in WV overnight many times and forgot to move ti before 7, im talkin wakin up at 10am like "OH SHIT" runnin out there seeing the ticket man ticketing the cars that leave their shit parked on curbs, and my car being right behind him not having a ticket

Wow. They never gave warnings when I was in school. That doesn't even sound like a policy that they would have implemented in a thousand years. Pass up an opportunity to make a quick $50. Riiiiiight.

9/29/2006 3:02:14 PM
What're the warnings for?
9/29/2006 3:05:36 PM
take the lic. plate off ur car, they won't know who to give the ticket to.
9/29/2006 3:42:04 PM
or if you park infront of a car park so close to the other car that they cant read your license plate

I got a warning in the Riddick Lot this week--with less than an hour until 5 p.m. I was parked closer to Stinson Drive and straight across from the front door to Poe. "Hey, [meter maid], leave those kids alone"--and me, too. Thank you!
