lets say you have 2 hard drives, c and e. lets say c was the old one and ya got a new one e to use as a primary. lets say win98 is on c and win2000 is on e. lets say you want to run a program that needs win 98, is it possible to run it from c and not the primary drive?

Wow. This is overly complicated. You can do a dual boot system. You have to boot to 98 to run the 98 program and you have to boot to 2000 for your everyday stuff. You can't boot to 2000 and run the 98 program because it happens to installed on the same disk/partition as the 98 OS though - but you probably knew that.XP has a computability mode where you can supposedly run the stuff as if it was on a previous OS but I don't know what kind of track record that has because I've never needed it.[Edited on September 27, 2006 at 12:14 PM.
