9/25/2006 6:29:19 PM
ahahaha
9/25/2006 7:00:20 PM
yeah but you shoudlnt be able to pick up guys right now, they should be on waivers... and everyone should have a chance to submit their claims and the highest waiver priority gets their guy...not jsut random free agency whoever is sitting closest to the computer gets the new stud
9/25/2006 7:48:16 PM
I have the highest waiver priority so am able to pick him up. It works out perfectly because I only really need him on Reggie Bush's bye week and that is the week before Alexander will be back (from what I've read).. If the reports are it's less serious I'll go ahead and deal him..I always find it pretty funny how people waste their waiver prioritys on some shit 3rd and 4th WR week in and week out. I sit on it knowing stuff like this will happen..
9/25/2006 7:53:47 PM
I was just offered a trade: Fast Willie and Reggie Wayne for Alexander. Oh, and I have Driver, J.Walker, and TO as my wideouts, so I need someone to cover TO for a week or so too
9/25/2006 8:06:57 PM
dude that is BS
9/25/2006 9:25:19 PM
oooor in most leagues the dude was probably sitting as a free agent without any wavier restrictions.
9/25/2006 9:31:25 PM
no, everyone should be placed on waivers after their game locks. Thats how most real leauges work.
9/25/2006 10:21:54 PM
...and you are wrong.twice.in two separate threads.
9/25/2006 10:43:14 PM
my first pick has been a god damn flop
9/25/2006 10:44:24 PM
aaaaaamazing

I stand vindicated once again. End of discussion. Goodbye Seattle.Don't mess with a curse or a jinx[Edited on September 25, 2006 at 11:17 PM. Reason : oh]
9/25/2006 11:14:11 PM
well with Alexander out indef. with the broke foot do yall think the seahawks still make the playoffs?considering that they play in the nfc west i would say probably so but maybe the cards or holt's rams can challenge them
9/26/2006 10:00:59 AM
9/26/2006 10:11:42 AM
i picked up Morris last nighttoo bad Seattle throws the ball 80 times a game.
9/26/2006 10:15:59 AM
^^ yeah well those are incorrect fantasy football rules.Once a players game starts he should be locked and should be placed on restrictive waivers. Then there is a set time (24 hour, 48 hour, 72 hour, etc) waiver period in which each league member can place a claim for anyone on waivers and the person with the highest waiver priority gets him. After that any player who has not been claimed off waivers becomes a free agent and may be claimed by anyone. The only other alternative to this system is if you "auction" off waiver players if your league uses a free agent budget.A system where everyone is just a free agent is an incorrectly formatted fantasy football league. What are you supposed to do, watch all the games from your laptop and jsut add a backup everytime a starter gets injured?[Edited on September 26, 2006 at 10:18 AM. Apparently. It's my first year, so I didn't know how it's supposed to be done. I guess you're right, but the system seems to be fairly widespread.
9/26/2006 10:27:20 AM
Glad I didn't draft him 2[Edited on September 26, 2006 at 10:27 AM. Reason : fsdsdf]

alexander is only a running back. Theyll be fine. The Rams and Cardinals are terrible.Seattle will still have the best record in the NFC, dont worry. Maurice Morris is fine, Alexander isnt the key to that teams success.
9/26/2006 10:47:44 AM
rally who you like seattle/chicago this week?Early lines 3.5, and the Seahawks usually suck on east coast games, but thats cuz of the 10 AM pacific time start. Since this is a night game, I don't think that'll be a factor. I won't make any plays till later, I expect the line to shift as people jump on Chicago with 37 out.
9/26/2006 10:50:41 AM
yeah if i can get +4.5 ill probably take Seattle...The Bears have no running game this year, im not really impressed.
