Let's see if this works...Fairly impressive. It'll be countered by some other bullshit with lebanon though. Maybe iran...
9/21/2006 10:40:55 PM
Great if it happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

Palestinians recognize Israel:
9/22/2006 9:18:00 AM
I hope this is a nice turning point for their relations. Lets hope some senseless violence perpetrated by either side in the next 3 months doesn't ruin this whole thing.
9/22/2006 9:26:29 AM
Why doesn't CNN have coverage of this online yet? Commies...
9/22/2006 9:29:00 AM
well it's pretty much evaporated alreadythe new article this morning says that hamas has told abbas to go fuck himself, they're not recognizing shitso fuck it
9/22/2006 9:38:15 AM
Dialogue people, dialogue.
9/22/2006 9:41:34 AM
Well, if that's true, I think it will be good for Israel in the end. If Hamas is seen as the reason the people are starving (because they won't get any aid until they recognize Israel) then maybe the people will demand they change leadership again. Oh God how sweet would a coup be in Palestine.
9/22/2006 9:43:18 AM
Depends on who'd be behind the coup.
9/22/2006 9:43:52 AM
I was thinking of Palestinian workers who haven't been paid because the people elected a bunch of terrorists to office.
9/22/2006 10:02:41 AM
A labor movement? That'd be pretty interesting. I just wonder what system they'd want to implement once a coup was over that didn't resemble a theocracy, or a democratic theocracy.
9/22/2006 10:09:15 AM
Whatever happened to establishing a Palestinian state? I'm not saying that its on the back burner now, but you don't hear much about it anymore.
9/22/2006 11:26:45 AM
It keeps going like this:(1) Israel moves towards recognizing Palestinean state(2) Palestinean organizations move towards declaring ceasefire.(3) Violent attack by minority actor from either side against the other.(4) Inflamed response from temporarily outraged people leading to more casualties.(5) Repeat.
9/22/2006 1:32:29 PM
(5) Profit!(6) Repeat.
9/22/2006 2:31:11 PM
It wouldn't be such a big deal if technology hadn't changed out from under them.
9/22/2006 2:43:46 PM
