if i have a laptop with say a 120gb hdd, can i image that drive onto another computer with a 120gb hdd? If so, how do i do this?

now if you expect the new image to actually boot into a new computer, that's a different story. but the contents of the drive will be visible if it is slaved to another bootable master drive.
It's possible to sysprep the drive, then image it, then restore the image, then maybe boot it on another computer

so would it probably be better to just transfer everything i want off of it to like an external hdd then copy to the new computer?

can you increase the hdd size on one laptop, image the original onto the new, then have it run?
