you can dump antifreeze in a sanitary sewer, just not in a storm drain

most autoparts stores have oil depositories, possibly for antifreeze also.

Search the city of raleigh's website for antifreeze. I believe you can flush it as long as you're on their sewer system. Don't do it if you have a septic tank.Oil can be dumped at any autozone, advance auto, etc.

You can indeed dump SMALL quantities of antifreeze down the toilet.The big deal is it's like only 1.5 or 2 gallons every 30 days. Ethylene glycol is biodegradeable, but too much is toxic and puts a mighty strain on the aerobic process at the sewage treatment plant.

i drive up to any jiffy lube and have them dispose of my oil, antifreeze, and batteries
