So after buying some new toothpaste I earned some credits to d/l free music from connect.com. Yes I was aware that SOME sort of issue would arise...and just as I suspected, one did. The files I d/l'd required a special player (SonicStage). The songs I d/l'd are in ".oma" format and when I go to the folder they are in, they almost look like .exe files. I can't import them into my itunes...and that pisses me off. How do I convert .oma to a file that itunes can use???

I d/l'd Blaze Media Pro, but I can't add the oma files to the conversion list b/c my computer doesn't even recognize them as audio files to begin with.when you go to the window to select the file you want to convert, you have file name and file type at the bottom, as you would when you try to upload anything online...when I open the folder the oma file is in, nothing shows up, and "audio file" is the only option i have to choose.I know the file exists because if I open up SonicStage I can listen to the music there.Help!! I don't know how to do this

Post a link to a legal/public oma file ... I don't think many of us have ever seen/used one, so unless we can get access to one, we won't be able to help you out.

Meh, everything freaking comes with free music from shitty download sources now. Sitting in front of me, for example, is a package of BIC pens that comes with 4 free movie downloads from sony's download service.

Perlith, I'm not really sure where to find any public oma files...it came from the http://www.connect.com websitethis file has the song name (like any other file) but uses the .oma at the end, as opposed to .mp3 (or whatever else is out there)
