Goin on vacation and lookin for a female to watch our pets
Here's the scoop....
2 ferrets, a Chihuahua, & lizard need a sitter from Nov 2-6 and i'd much rather pay one of you than some vet or petsmart employee.

This will be in-home sitting so you'll come to our Cary apt (The Lodge) right off of Tryon twice a day (morning & evening) to take care of our animals. Feel free to watch TV on the big screen, use the computer, or snack on whatever's in the pantry .

Duties are pretty basic: Walk, water and feed the Chihuahua. The ferrets need their cage cleaned, need a half hour or so of mischief, & food/water. Lizard needs water dish filled & baby food placed in tank one time only.

We prefer someone who is a pet person and has been around ferrets. (females only)
Feel free to stay as often as you like during the day, all we ask is you respect the place and our property. It's not hard work but we need a dependable sitter... $80

so why females only? and if you water a chihuahua does it get bigger or grow into a REAL DOG

i might be interested. i've petsit alot before.
I have 4 dogs (one is half chihuahua), 1 cat, iguana, 3 bearded dragons, uromastyx, 4 leopard geckos, 2 chameleons, 3 hamsters, 3 guinea pigs, and a FERRET

what kind of lizard is it?

let me look at my schedule and make sure there are no conflicts.

and i'll ask my friend for you. she lives at the Lodge and has a dog and has played with my ferret.

the lizard is a blue tongued skink.... she requires very little care. (misting her terrarium occasionally and turning her light on/off)

^^ they sell timers at home depot for $3/$4. great convenience for turning the lights on/off. plus it makes it more regular (better for them).

we dont want some redneck guy inviting people over to watch the game spilling beer everywhere. girls are more reliable/trustworthy. the last 2 times i had a guy watch the animals the 1st one showed up ONCE (there was crap everywhere) and the 2nd one downloaded porn

If the other people who've responded don't work out, I'm willing to give you a hand. I live in the same apartment complex (well, technically, we're with The Park @ Crossroads) with my husband, our 5 birds, 2 cats, and 2 hamsters. You've probably heard our birds if you walk your dog anywhere near our apartment. So it'd be cake to go by your apartment twice to take care of your critters.
