just got a call from unknown number.

it was a recorded message that i believe started "hi, this is bill graham"

thanked me for my help fighting the gas tax earlier this year (?), then went on to talk about a horrible problem facing our nation - illegal immigration.

"illegal immigrants are flooding our schools, jobs, ..." all i heard before hanging up.

well mr. graham, how did your ancestors end up in this country?

and anybody know who the fuck this guy is, why i am getting called by him, or how to stop it?

I always get one about a radio survey from a 513 area code...and I never answer. And this is weird, because I don't put my cell phone number in anywhere when I register on website to get updated about their info (like clothing brands, or department stores).

He's getting ready to run for governor. He's a real douchebag. Let's build a wall around NC to keep the Mexicans and Yankees out, woohoo.

I'm not really terrified about illegal immigration, but I would like to point out that

could be proven wrong if they were legal immigrants, like a lot of people

of course the counter-arguement is that our cold war era immigration policies are still in place, making it all but impossible to immigrate. Change the immigration rules back to the way there were in the beginning and no more illegals.

Before we start pointing fingers and making judgements, we should all take a lesson from Pocahontas: http://youtube.com/watch?v=TkV-of_eN2w

I did some brief research and from what I found, illegal immigration didn't really exist until 1924 when immigrants had to have a Visa to enter the US. Before that you just showed up, applied for citizenship, renounced your king, and lived there for a certain period. After that, not only were you a legal immigrant, but a citizen as well.
