i have a s video outlet on my cpu. can i hook that to my receiver and use that to view my computer screen on my tv? I am trying to hook my computer up so i can watch the game on my tv tommorow through pack pass. Also how good are the games on that service? I am not somewhere where they will pick it up on a bar being out of state

before anyone else says it, CPU = central processing unit i think you're meaning PC.but yeah hook your pc s-video to your tv s-video and flip through tv/video til you get it. sound is another issue though, you'll probably need a stero to rca converter.

yeah i have my background on the tv now but no icons or anything else. Should i make the tv the primary monitor or the pc on the settings menu?thanks for the help

The worst thing is that a lot of tech support and customer service arms of computer companies call it the cpu too. That, and the fact that people say it on tv a lot, are where it comes from. Kind of makes it hard to get mad at people who say it not knowing what it means.It's used so often like that, it's started appearing as secondary definitions of CPU (usually with a note that it's an incorrect useage though.)
