Some of you might recall that my drivers side window was smashed and stereo stolen last month.Well I look outside today and my rear window is smashed. It looks like someone was shoved/pushed/fell onto it. Totally shattered it. Nothing was taken, no hard object was found. I have a car alarm but it didn't go off, and if it did then I was sleeping like a baby.Got an estimate for $1021

$1000?? damn. i had an estimate for mine from raleigh auto glass for $550. i didn't need the glass, i just wanted it replaced with a custom made piece so i could do away with the rear wiper. i came to my senses and never had it done. check around somemore. unless it's just that much more expensive up there.

i bet that peice of glass costs like $110.sounds like you got some payback for parking like an ass.

I didn't park in any way to be an asshole. I have no idea why this happened. My deductible for broken glass is $500, so it doesn't matter to me if it costs $550 or $1000 to fix. The quote I got for the piece is $1021.96.I don't really need a car in the city, but I use it to travel a lot on weekends during the summer. But after this weekend's trip to Dewey Beach and next weekend's to MD for a wedding this car is gone. I'm parking it at a relatives in NJ until I get another chance to drive it to Charlotte.
