Is it just me or does it seem like plaers are getting injured at an alarming rate. I swear, every other game I watched there was a player that was lost for the year (or at least the majority of it). I just don't remember seeing this many serious injuries.

conditioning is beginning to take a backseat to running plays and drilling for entire practicesnot to mention the lack of disclipine american athletes tend to have outside the training facilities

Well Bush and Mauk are the only two I can think of that were serious offhand.Bush is a loss but they have enough talent to replace him and a GREAT qb... Mauk hurts WFU though because they have NO passing game now to open up the run. If they were playing any other team in America they would have lost. Lucky for them they played the most pitiful excuse of an offense in recent memory (SU sucks)^ true but the serious injuries were both freak injuries.. i mean no amount of conditioning and working out well prevent a broken arm and a shattered tibia[Edited on September 4, 2006 at 2:20 AM. THere were a few ACL/MCL type injuries too like the Clemson LB and a RB for I wanna say Memphis (one of the afternoon games today). MissState lost their QB. I can't think of any others off the top of my head but I do know there were some I am forgetting from the SportsCenter I was just watching. Anyways... probably is nothing out of the ordinary.
