you can get one at best buy for $59.99 with a $100 mail in rebate last time I checked... which was this past Saturday.

apparently it was one of those cases where a call to tech support made it magically work. at least the third time i called. so it's all good now.

btw the rebates are for new activations only, so they didn't apply. otherwise it wouldn't have been an issue.
