Videographers and EditorsThe WolfTech WebTeam seeks individuals that have a passion for video production and/or editing video. No previous experience is required, applicants must have a good work ethic and good writing skills. The WebTeam works out of Engineering Building II, so this is a great opportunity for those of you who are ECE/CSC students since you could come to work for hours right after you get out of your classes without having to travel. The positions are not limited to just ECE/CSC students, though (I started working here as a Communication major, for example). Also, a lot of the scripters that come in here know very little initially about general web development/PHP/MySQL/JavaScript/etc., so if you're looking for job in the field, but are still learning or want to learn more, this is a great opportunity. If you have any questions about the WebTeam positions, feel free to shoot my a PM or post in this thread and I'll answer them as best as I can.If you want to apply, you'll want to contact Margaret Hudacko at huck@ncsu.eduMore information on other WolfTech positions, please visit: http://www.wolftech.ncsu.edu/jobs/

Sadly, right now we're not in the position to hire anyone who isn't a Work-Study student, though if you want, you can always try going and bugging financial aid to see if they can do anything or you can just send your resumé in and ask us to hold onto it if any positions open up.

^^^ isn't that kinda...dumb? or are these jobs that were created, not out of actual need, but an excuse to give out money?
8/30/2006 10:36:58 PM
We need people for the positions. The issue is the federal government pays workstudy students, whereas if the person were hired outside of the program the department would have to pay them.
