I actually kinda made a thread on the subject. But it got no replies. I'll be there on the lawn with a TWWer to be named later.

I'm going to know all the words, despite that I really haven't listened to them a lot in years. Just watch.
8/22/2006 11:08:13 PM
You better not miss one. That's worse than not knowing any of the words in the first place.
8/22/2006 11:12:25 PM
i dont know any words except maaaybe some parts of some goo goo songs
8/22/2006 11:17:43 PM
i didn't know that "accidently in love" song was by them until the altell commercial told me so. i hear that shit at work every day.
8/22/2006 11:18:30 PM
They have new stuff? I hope they only play the stuff from pre-1999. No, check that, I hope they only play stuff from pre-1997.
8/22/2006 11:20:29 PM
^yeh that song ^^ was in shrek 2 or shrek or something[Edited on August 22, 2006 at 11:22 PM. Reason : sdh]
8/22/2006 11:22:26 PM
Accidently in Love was on the second Shrek Soundtrack.I also think there were one or two new songs on their Best Of album. But other than that, I don't think there's a newer release than Hard Candy.
8/22/2006 11:22:34 PM
I can live with that. Heck, I've seen them in concert since that.
8/22/2006 11:24:37 PM
I hope they play a rarity.I was in love with Barely out of Tuesday and Chelsea for a long while.[Edited on August 22, 2006 at 11:30 PM. Reason : .]
8/22/2006 11:30:12 PM
I'm hoping this rain will clear up. Blaccuweathers saying it should. As for rarities theres always hope they'll play some Einstein on the beach but I'm not holding my breath.
8/23/2006 8:31:28 AM
I saw them at small show at Davidson college probably 4 years ago and they played a lot of acoustic and rarities which was awesome. I have a feeling playing with GGD and at large venues it will probably be chocked full of the hits and favourites. Which for the crows isn't bad to me, i love almost all their work
8/23/2006 2:27:11 PM
Counting Crows?more like "Counting People in the empty lawn"what an [old] group.
8/23/2006 2:31:24 PM
Well yeah, they're old. But I loved them when I was younger, and I still know all the songs. So if the ticket was free, there's no harm in going.
8/23/2006 5:21:36 PM
where is it, when is it, and can I still get tickets? I just heard about it...and I really like counting crows music
8/23/2006 10:18:10 PM
um.... it was tonight. sorry.
8/23/2006 10:38:41 PM
So that was good. They opened with Anna Begins and closed with Holiday in Spain, which are definitely among my few favorites. The rest of what I remember: Miami, Perfect Blue Buildings, A Murder of One, Omaha, A Long December, Hanging Around, Colorblind, Hard Candy, Time and Time Again (which was fucking awesome, really, I didn't realize I missed that song so much), Mr. JonesI was sorta hoping for Angels of the Silences or Barely out of Tuesday, but oh well. I'm still glad I went.
8/23/2006 11:50:20 PM
And I can confirm that StillFuchsia does indeed know most of the words to the songs.
8/24/2006 12:04:59 AM
I TOLD YOU.Except Perfect Blue Buildings. But it's an old song anyhow.
8/24/2006 12:05:57 AM
I'm sure they changed the words just like you said.
8/24/2006 12:06:57 AM
Actually, I think they added a verse to the beginning. But otherwise the words are the same... I just didn't know them. The chorus is the best part anyhow.
8/24/2006 12:09:45 AM
I said there were at least 5 songs I wanted to hear. and here they are:Angels of the SilencesRain KingRecovering the SatelitesRound here. (this one makes me really )Have you seen me lately.
8/24/2006 12:13:51 AM
Was able to nab seats right up where the VIP's sit. Not too bad for an extra 10 clams.El Nacho has it pretty nailed down all the songs I wanted to hear.[Edited on August 24, 2006 at 12:19 AM. Reason : .]
