wiggle the plug?

I think it is because some how a bad connection between the actual charger and attachment that plugs into wall.... ***Dumbest thought ever warning*** Would it be profoundly retarded (concidering there is no place still open to get a charger and I need the phone) to electrical tape a couple of paperclips (two fold) onto the prongs- and attach two normal plug conductor (things) onto each one... and then of course carfully plug.... or am I going to electricute myself and start a fire somewhere?

walmart sells universal and individual phone chargers, go hit them up

^^ no, that sounds like a great idea

ive had 3 different motorola phones over the past 6 years (with the 2 prong charger), and with each phone, I've always had some difficulty in getting it to charge.A lot of the times (at least on my last 2 phones), I'll plug it in, and it will beep and say "Unable to Charge." Several times, and when I change outlets, it works. Beats the hell out of me!

The SLVR uses a mini usb charger-where the hell did you buy your phone from??? That charger you have will never charge your phone...Mini usb (SLVR):v400/551/557:

well Brandon- When you lose/ break at least 2 phones a month like you do I guess it would become necessary to purchase an Armored truck of a cell phone...... Is that thing bullet proof??haha

dude, nextel sucksstop pushing them and get a real job
8/23/2006 2:48:43 PM
i dont work for nextel
8/23/2006 2:50:53 PM
I had nextel for 7 years and the phones were the best made ever. I called my the yellow brick and you could literally throw it across the room and it would be fine. Unfortantly nextel's coverage area sucks and though they promised it would get better it never did. Now i have flowerly verizon phones.
8/23/2006 4:16:17 PM
Nextel=solid phones+shitty coverage
8/23/2006 6:58:41 PM
i had nextel for a while as well and the phones are great- The coverage has gotten a lot bettwer from what I understand thanks to the sprint merger
8/23/2006 8:01:24 PM
The Sprint/Nextel merger in no way improved coverage on Nextel phones...both companies are on totally separate and incompatible networks. Nextel sucks balls and their phones are 1-2 years behind most other carriers' technology... [Edited on August 23, 2006 at 9:07 PM. Reason : this thread is getting a tad off topic ]

well first of all- It did in fact help the coverage... Sprint towers are being used to transmit nextel- Much as Suncom for instance utilizes Alltel towers as well as their own. Either way, Nextel phones were not and are not designed for all the flashy options and all. They are by far the most durable phone on the market. If i'm going hiking, Ill bring an i530 with me any day of the week over any other brand phone in production and that is their baseline shit phone
