An auction of mine just finished on Ebay and the guy sent me the money Paypal. I realized that I didn't have any CCs or bank accounts connected to this Paypal account. Although I added my debit card to the account, am I stuck with the money from the auction just sitting in Paypal? How can I use it? Does it have to be through ebay? I'm a paypal noob at this. I'd prefer it to go to my debit card/to my bank account, but since it's already been sent, is it worth adding the bank account info to my Paypal account?

If you dont add your bank account, its just going to sit in your paypal account. Just go add it and transfer funds, unless you buy a lot on ebay, then just leave it to buy things with.

^ is bad advice - never leave it in paypal - they are earning interest on your money instead of you earning interest on your own money

They will mail you a check if you request it but they charge a few bucks for printing and mailing the check. It's much simpler to add your bank account.

just because the money got there before you added your bank account doesnt mean that you cant still add your bank account and withdraw the funds.
